Energy Careers Pathways Program Brings Solar Education To SRCC

Solar education training is now underway at SRCC in cooperation with GRID Alternatives North Valley. The Energy Careers Pathways program is a four-week program that provides students with hands-on training, classroom instruction, and practical experience in solar installation. Corpsmembers will learn about equipment, wire codes, and safety precautions. They will also receive additional interview and resume writing training. Along with the knowledge and abilities required to work as entry-level solar installers, Corpsmembers who complete the program also receive a toolkit.
