A Helping Hand: SRCC leads the construction of cabin homes for new "Stay Safe Community" site.

Updated: Aug 2, 2022

Construction of 100 new sleeping cabins began early this week on the corner of Power Inn and Florin. These cabins are part of Sacramento County's latest "Safe Stay Community" housing project which will focus on offering housing for those experiencing homelessness. Our Corpsmembers are leading the construction effort, which is expected to take 10 days. For more information on this project and it's impact, please click here.
