WE can't wait to
work with you
The mission of the Sacramento Regional Conservation Corps (SRCC) is to enrich the lives of young adults by providing a development program integrating education, job skills training and work experience on conservation projects and service opportunities that benefit the region and our corps members.
Read below to learn more about some ofthe services we offer and how you can hire the corps.
As a registered E-waste handler, SRCC accepts E-waste material from the public at our center during specific operating hours. If residents have E-waste that they’re looking to dispose of, they can take advantage of these drop offs Mondays-Thursdays from 8:00am-2:00pm and Fridays 8:00-11:00am. Due to COVID-19, these drop offs are now conducted in a zero-contact fashion. To get more information and schedule your drop off, contact our Outreach Coordinator: Natalie Pieper at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The SRCC offers an on-the-job training program for employers looking to hire our hard working corpsmembers. This program provides motivated corpsmembers the opportunity to gain valuable skills while meaningfully contributing to your organization.
The SRCC can provide recycling information and education to the community. Our students are knowledgable and experienced in a variety of recycling methods covering beverage container, e-waste, used tires and used oil. We can provide materials or come make an appearance and presentation.
and Litter Abatement
The SRCC can clear clogged or overcrowded areas of natural debris. Whether it's trees, stumps, branches, etc. our crew can provide an efficient and safe cleanup of the area. We also provide a litter abatement and disposal program for areas within and around Sacramento. We collect and dispose of litter, debris and hazardous materials that have been illegally dumped throughout the county. Crews are available 7 days per week.
The SRCC can be retained for specific roadway maintenance needs to either improve or preserve current road conditions.
